지난 500여 년 동안 이튼 칼리지 채플에 보관 중인 방대한 분량의 종교합창곡 필사본에는 종교개혁 이전 영국 가톨릭 전례음악의 전통에 대한 풍성한 정보가 담겨 있다. 초기 폴리포니 스타일의 일곱 작품을 이 음반에 수록하였다. 켈릭과 윌리엄이 완성한 두 편의 마니피카트, 13성부를 위한 카논 작품인 윌킨슨의 'Jesus autem transiens' 등 영국 특유의 단아한 폴리포니 종교합창곡의 매력을 만끽하게 될 것이다.
