니네트 드 발루아의 매력적이고 유쾌한 <코펠리아>는 로열 발레단의 고전 레퍼토리로, 사랑과 장난, 그리고 기계 인형에 관한 이야기입니다. 들리브의 아름다운 음악에 맞춰 펼쳐지는 정교한 안무는 발레단 전체의 뛰어난 기량과 코믹한 타이밍을 보여줍니다. 오스버트 랭커스터의 다채로운 무대 디자인은 이 즐겁고 유쾌한 발레 작품에 생동감 넘치는 동화 속 세상을 선사합니다.

마리우스 페티파의 <잠자는 미녀>는 로열 발레단의 레퍼토리에서 특별한 위치를 차지하고 있습니다. 생동감 넘치는 무대 장치와 화려한 의상, 그리고 장미의 속삭임, 환상의 파드되, 흥겨운 결혼식, 매력적인 동화 속 하객들 등 상징적인 장면들이 차이콥스키의 풍부하고 다채로운 음악에 맞춰 펼쳐집니다. 차이콥스키의 음악은 역사상 가장 사랑받는 발레 음악 중 하나로 손꼽힙니다.

<백조의 호수>는 아마도 모든 고전 발레 작품 중 가장 사랑받는 작품일 것입니다. 리암 스칼렛이 안무를 맡은 이번 작품은 페티파와 이바노프의 고전 작품에 충실하면서도 새로운 안무를 추가했습니다. 존 맥팔레인의 화려한 무대 디자인은 차이콥스키의 숭고한 음악과 어우러져 매혹적인 사랑 이야기를 더욱 빛나게 합니다.
