리코더의 여제 미칼라 페트리가 현대 음악계에서 주목받고 있는 네 명의 중국 또는 중국계 미국 작곡가들의 협주곡 풍의 작품들을 연주하였다. 첸 이의 '옛 중국의 아름다움'은 페트리를 위해 완성된 오리지널 리코더 협주곡이며, 마 수이룽과 탕 지앙핑의 작품들은 원래 중국 전통 대나무피리를 위한 작품들을 리코더로 연주한 것이다. 브라이트 셍의 '플루트 달' 역시 플루트를 위한 작품을 리코더로 연주하였다.
