크리스토프 마이어(바로크 바이올린), 요한나 자이츠(바로크 하프), 모니카 닐렌(바로크 오보에)가 함께 모인 스피리트 & 플레저가 잉글랜드와 17세기~18세기 스코틀랜드, 아일랜드의 아름다운 민요와 춤곡을 연주한다. 어딘가 아련하고 감상적인 분위기와 독특한 선율, 목가적인 정취가 인상적인 이 레퍼토리는 최근 조르디 사발 등 몇몇 고음악 연주자들에 의해 새롭게 조명받았는데, 스피리트 & 플레저는 제미니아니 작품집에서 가져온 ‘좋은 취향’이라는 제목으로 상상력이 풍부한 콘티누오와 민요풍의 분위기를 잘 살린 연주를 들려준다.
